A huge congratulations to Cameron M. Smith, who today won a Solas Silver Award for his story Ghost On Ice in the annual Travelers’ Tales travel writing competition, and which will be published in The Best Travel Writing 2008: True Stories from Around the World.
Cameron also won a Gold Prize for his Escape From Darien, which was recently featured in the Lyons Press book They Lived to Tell the Tale.
Congratulations to Harold Davis (and his producer, designer and partner Phyllis Davis) on the publication of The Photographer’s Guide to Yosemite and the High Sierra (Countryman/W.W. Norton).
Congratulations to Michelle Waitzman on finishing Living Abroad in New Zealand, which is coming soon from Moon Publications/Avalon. Michelle also received a great Seattle Times Valentine’s Day review of her Sex in a Tent. See it here!
Congratulations to Cliff Truesdell on finishing his second music-tech title with me, Introducing Reason 4, coming soon from Sybex. You should check out Cliff’s band on their MySpace page.
Congratulations to Dave Crenshaw on signing, sealing, and delivering his productivity business fable, The Myth of Multitasking: How “Doing it All” Gets Nothing Done, which is due out in hardcover this August from Jossey-Bass.
Congratulations to Gary David Bouton on the imminent publication of his newest book Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended: Retouching Motion Pictures, to be published by Course Technology.
